Here we have several commercial breaks from WNEW 5 New York’s afternoon cartoon programming. This footage was pulled from an old Sony Betamax tape that was recorded some time around 1984. Included in this footage are commercials for Froot Loops cereal, Oreo cookies, Playskool’s Federal Express Air Cargo Playset, Transformers, Cabbage Patch Kids poseable figures, Cabbage Patch Kids Hide and Seek Game, the Mickey Mouse Talking Phone (“Mickey, come over for a pahhty!”), Pac Man cereal, PTO from Buddy L, Lite Brite, Mystery Mansion, Rainbow Brite Shrinky Dinks, Chips Ahoy, Robotix, Baby Skates, Gremlins cereal, Pom Poms Shoes, McDonalds Happy Meals, Rice Krispies, and several for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe collection.
