“Diary Of A Mad Housewife” Full Theatrical Version

“DIARY OF A MAD HOUSEWIFE” starring Richard Benjamin, Frank Langella and the now late Carrie Snodgress was released in it’s full theatrical R-rated version to American movie theaters in 1970. About 10 years later, an edited-for-content PG-rated version was released by Universal Pictures for commercial TV broadcast and a highly content edited R-rated version was made & released by MCA on VHS tape for sale & rental in commercial video stores. The version you see here was compiled by me, Dan Schear, from my old VHS tape archive of both the PG & R-rated versions and represents perhaps the ONLY FULL THEATRICAL PRESENTATION since this movie was seen in cinemas in the early ’70’s. I apologize for the marginal video/audio quality of these old tapes recorded at SLP slowest speed, but we all should be thankful that ALL MOVIE CONTENT is once again available to the viewer for all those who treasure enjoying this classic movie as much as I do. All television & movie clips are copyright & property of their current respective owners, used here strictly for non-profit purposes and are pursuant to the following statement: Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
