It’s time for a serious blast from the past! In this episode of Scott’s Slasher World, I’m opening an entire box of 1990-91 SkyBox NBA basketball cards: the inaugural SkyBox basketball set and one of the card sets I remember collecting as a kid.

I’m looking to find as many Michael Jordan cards as I can! Along the way, we pull some of the biggest names of the era, including Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, David Robinson, Dominique Wilkins, Dennis Rodman, Reggie Miller and more.

These cards are pure early-’90s basketball nostalgia. The colorful backgrounds, graphics and artwork made SkyBox completely different from a lot of the basketball cards I was collecting at the time. Opening a full box more than 35 years later feels like being a kid again.

Who was your favorite NBA player from this era? And what vintage box or pack should I open next? Let me know in the comments.
