Sun Sportswear knew they had a hit on their hands with Rude Dog, their new mascot.

To further market the character, Sun Sportswear developed a Saturday morning cartoon in 1989 entitled Rude Dog and the Dweebs. Rude Dog and the Dweebs was as colorful as the clothing it advertised and so very 80’s / early 90’s. The series was produced by Marvel Productions.
