The History of Saturday Morning Cartoons & Why They Disappeared



For a few decades at the end of the 20th century kids all over the US gathered in front of their TV’s every Saturday morning for the Saturday Morning Cartoon ritual.

Bugs Bunny, Mr. T, Pac-Man, The Ghostbusters, Thhe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, wizards, monsters, villains, heroes and everything else.

But it’s gone now, at least on the major networks. Where did it go? Why did it go?
