This is Louise Jameson’s first acting part since leaving Doctor Who. Most of the other actors were inexperienced, and the scriptwriters and television unit had never before attempted anything more daring than soap operas.

The series was forced off the air by Mrs. Mary Whitehouse due to the occult and supernatural themes present, and one episode covering satanism. It has never been repeated on-air in any country and has become associated with conspiracy theories of its own.
